EMBARK ON A NEW JOURNEY
Learn skills that will build the teamwork with your horse
and take your riding to the next level.
This two day clinic with my longtime friend and trainer Linda Hoover, founder of Refined Horse Versatility, will help you discover how to have a more harmonious, safe and joyful partnership with your horse. I have always been amazed that in just one weekend you can learn how to step into your horse's world and speak their language. Linda will teach you how to relate to your horse rather than expecting your horse to relate to you. These positive changes will last a lifetime!
Linda will again offer my clients and friends a special price of $300 per participant. She normally charges $500 or more for her clinics. This clinic is appropriate for all riders ages 16 & up. Private Sessions will also be available on Monday and Tuesday, August 27 & 28 for clinic participants for $125/hour. Space is limited, so register early to reserve your spot.
We will kick off the weekend with a potluck dinner on Friday evening. Following dinner, Linda will guide you through the Training Game. This insightful and fun game puts you in your horse's shoes...so to speak.
During each session on Saturday & Sunday, you will work in one of two small groups in a three hour session. Each session will start with groundwork exercises that will show you how even the most simple moments with your horse can be key to establishing a solid foundation. You are encouraged to ask questions and participate in discussions.
In the "Under the Saddle" portion of each session, you will expand on the techniques and exercises that you learned in the "Ground Work" portion. Linda will show you how to establish a framework for refinement that will help deal with the challenges you may encounter on a daily basis with your horse. She will give you the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of what your horse is trying to communicate to you when you are in the saddle.
